About Amanda Frazier, MSW, LCSW

Personal growth and development is a lifelong journey and it takes courage to truly connect with ourselves, cultivate change and turn over a new leaf. I am here to support you on your journey, empower you to thrive and help you to stay grounded along the way.

I have worked in various settings providing direct practice service including psychiatric inpatient, intensive outpatient, residential treatment, and community mental health. I work with adolescents, adults and families, individuals, groups and couples. I have an integrated approach and practice trauma informed care. I use evidenced based models such as traditional Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on systems theories. My work is person-centered and strengths based. I also enjoy incorporating experiential techniques; mindfulness, creative writing, nature, and using music therapeutically often enable growth and change in powerful ways. I help people struggling with a wide range of issues including but not limited to stress, adjustment, anxiety/panic, depression, mood disorders, parenting issues, substance misuse, co-occurring conditions, work-life balance, family and relationship problems.

My style is genuine, non-judgemental and supportive. The quality of relationship between therapist and client remains one of the most important indicators of successful treatment. With so many approaches to therapy it is important to find the right match for your unique needs. If any of this resonates with you, please feel free to schedule a consultation.
