Dr. Warner, states “Over the years I have found there is an irony to therapy and counseling. Often clients come in with problems that are incredibly painful, stressful, and frightening. After working through their issues clients are often surprised to find they have gained such deep insight, compassion, joy, and wisdom for themselves and others. They often look back at their suffering and can view it as the “best problem of their life.” This best problem focus is often the goal of therapy and counseling. Entering counseling allows you to be one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.”
