Dr. Chaisson-McRae is a general psychiatrist who treats adolescents and
adults with mental illness, including substance use disorders. She
specializes in using integrative medicine and strives to maintain a
balance between medications and psychotherapy.
She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University
School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her residency
program in psychiatry at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan,
where she served as chief resident in her final year. In addition,
she completed fellowships in medical leadership at Henry Ford
Hospital, and Electroconvulsive Therapy at Duke University. Dr.
Chaisson-McRae is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry
and Neurology. She is a member of Artemis Medical Society and the
American Psychiatric Association.
