Diane obtained her Bachelors and Masters Degree of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. Prior to entering private practice in 1992, she worked in many different settings. She began her career as a social worker for the Texas Department of Human Services. In this setting she worked closely with families of physical and sexual abuse; and neglect. She also served in a supervisory position and worked as an adjunct professor for North Texas University and Texas Woman's University. In 1992 she began working as a psychotherapist in a psychiatric hospital setting. She provided individual and group therapy to adolescents and adult in both intensive outpatient settings and in inpatient settings. In 1995 she entered private practice with Alamo Mental Health Group. In her practice, she enjoys working with people to bring about positive change in their lives. When not devoting time to her practice, Diane enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years and her two teenage daughters.
