Kelly is Retired Navy (Hospital Corpsman) / Army (Social Work Officer) Veteran and has served in Family Advocacy, Hospice, Outpatient Mental Health, Inpatient Mental Health, Physical Rehabilitation, Veteran services over the past 30 plus years. Kelly has served as a "Life-After-Loss" facilitator for the American Cancer Society as well as a "Stephen-Ministry-Leader" in two Lutheran Congregations in the past. Kelly has also taught for "Park University" (Sociology) and UTSA (Social Work) and St. Philips College (Medical Terminology) previously. Kelly is also a Social work Supervisor for those seeking LCSW Licensure.

Kelly has an electric approach to therapy as well as experience in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, is in training for EMDR and also has training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy(ART). Kelly also is a professional member of CHADD(Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), NASW(National Association of Social Workers).
