Kindra is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Texas A&M University – Central Texas and is currently pursuing her PhD in Family Studies at Texas Woman’s University. Kindra’s professional background includes working in clinical research (behavioral and medical science), conducting group therapy for victimized women, assessing substance abuse then linking clients to treatment, and providing biofeedback therapy to active-duty military afflicted with PTSD.
Kindra has experience in working with adults who suffer from racial trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and relationship issues. She utilizes therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness to help individuals get to a place of healing and resilience.
Message from Kindra: The most difficult part about healing is being patient and loving yourself enough to know that you deserve better. My passion is to help individuals heal and find peace in an unbalanced world.
