Provider type: Therapist
Serving: Adolescent, Adult, Child, Geriatric
Mary Mainville is an experienced therapist who believes she is here to serve others. Patients are often surprised at the level of comfort they feel within the first minutes of a session and describe her as empathetic, intuitive, and nonjudgmental. She creates and holds a safe space for delicate feelings and the sharing of life’s difficulties. She works with people of all ages, combining her knowledge of human development with clinical education, assisting others in navigating typical life transitions and ongoing challenges. She is especially humbled when caretakers trust her with their littles (and not so littles!)
Mary earned a Master of Clinical Social Work from Simmons College in Boston Massachusetts and a Master of Education from Salem University in Salem Massachusetts. Her most recent continuing education credits were earned from Penn State. She is a 200-hour trained yoga teacher and a career long provider of pro bono services for active and veteran military members and their families.
