Patricia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Prior to coming to LifeStance Health, she worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital with adults as a therapist where her duties included group therapy, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management. In addition, she also worked at the local mental health authority conducting clinical assessments and diagnosis for children adolescents, and adults. Patricia has experience in working with diverse clients in different socioeconomic, cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds.
She works from a Solution Focused Approach, Strengths-Based Perspective, and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies. Her goal is to educate patients about their mental illness, help them be their own advocates for their needs, and assist with goal setting so they can lead a meaningful and successful life. She hopes clients will be able to rewrite their own story and find hope and optimism in their lives.
Patricia graduated with a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and Religious Studies from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
