Therapeutic Philosophy: I believe that therapy is there to help you develop new ways of approaching the present and build towards your future. Whether you are struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, or other issues, the goal of therapy is to help you gain or regain a quality of life that is fulfilling, meaningful, and vital for you.

Therapeutic Focus: Therapy is to help you to identify your strengths and gifts and then guide you on selecting actions that are more consistent with the life you want. In this process, I embrace the importance and uniqueness of diverse cultural backgrounds and their influence in one's life, knowing these are what make you unique using a client-centered approach.

Professional Background: Prior to coming to LifeStance Health, I worked in a long-term care/rehabilitation facility providing ongoing therapy, treatment planning and assessments. I am also an Associate Professor at Texas Woman’s University, where I teach both graduate and undergraduate courses. My Ph.D. in psychology is from Texas A&M University and I currently serve on the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as Vice Chair
