Ms. Kampa is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health nurse practitioner. She received both her Master's degree in Nursing and her Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Frontier Nursing University.
Ms. Kampa has experience in caring for client's across the
life span. She has worked in an outpatient setting in which she provided mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults. She has also worked with the geriatric population in an inpatient setting. She has experience in managing behavior issues, mood disorders, behavioral changes related to cognitive decline, and other mental health issues.
Ms. Kampa believes each client is unique and as such brings to each encounter varied life experiences that impact all aspects of the mental health journey. She focuses on treating the whole person which includes mind, body, and spirit. She believes the client-provider relationship requires at its foundation the core values of trust, honesty, and integrity. Ms. Kampa feels that working in the field of Psychiatry is a calling and her Christian values guide her in treating each client with kindness, compassion, and respect.
