The training I have received in the management of psychiatric medications and brief psychotherapy, I truly strive to understand your concerns, and provide further clarification, as we aim to achieve the goals you have set. Together we will develop a treatment plan to guide you through the stages of change.
I am a board-certified family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner available to Texas residents, adolescents through adults. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M university in 2010 and completed my graduate training a Walden University. During her last years in psychiatry, i have practiced outpatient and inpatient hospital systems caring for clients with various psychiatric conditions and serve as a faculty Nurse Practitioner Instructor. Through my previous ten years in healthcare, i have been privileged to gain experience in Medical Surgical Nursing, Endovascular intensive care, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry. I provide trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, compassionate care. I strive to help individuals with complex trauma, and treat a range of psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma-related disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
